"Dave....received the flutes for
the new CD Project and they play great. I really appreciate your talent
for the beautiful Artwork and tone. I recommend your flutes to anyone -
they are both an instrument and work of visual art."

Dave,
Just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying the flute, and trying it with your music. This flute has been much more satisfying already than the last one I bought elsewhere, so much easier to play and such a nice sound. Thanks for having a loon ready and waiting on such a beautiful flute. I enjoyed meeting you and seeing all of your handiwork. Some day I might just decide I want a drone. I couldn't think of where I had experienced that before, but remember now it was with a friend's bagpipe. Same principle I guess. I prefer the flute. Karen, Toledo Ohio |

Hi Dave,
I've been remiss; I've wanted to tell you how much I love my bee flute! I played it at a meditation service for our church, and the sound was excellent. the songs in your book have been pretty easy to learn so I used some of those and also did a little impromptu stuff. I did have to make myself a fingering chart, it isn't as much like the recorder as I thought it would be, probably because my recorder is in C, but I haven't had too much trouble remembering which instrument I'm playing! Everybody thought the queen bee totem was very cool! Thanks so much!

Dave-
I received the sassafras G today - Wow, and thank you!
I am a newer flute appreciate-er and player. I have six other
flutes.....This is my first flute that has a longer bore and those four
lower sound holes, with a thinner body...my first flute of sassafras
(and what a beautiful carved walnut sound block/bird!)...and only my
second flute with the sound flue in the bird and not in the nest/body of
the flute. (is that the plains style vs the woodland?)
It has a wonderful sweet clean voice. Pure and plenty loud. It is
balanced to my hand, beautiful, and easy to play. Each flute I receive
is my teacher, and I look forward to learning with this one. Thank you
so much! Thank you also for your careful packaging and for the fleece
sheath.
Thanks so much! I hope all is well for you and your reunited family.

Hi Dave,
Just a note to
say thank you for creating a beautiful flute for my husband. He
is practicing and is learning to play. He is sounding good
already...since Christmas.
We found flute
lessons online...on You-Tube...6 lessons by Odell.
Very helpful.
The
woodburnings are fabulous! Love the squirrel! (the squirrel is my
husband's "wisdom figure" so that made the flute so much more
meaningful.)
Thanks again,
Julie Williams
